Free use and trials

Free calculator use does not require payment. If a Pro trial is offered, the trial length and any payment requirement will be shown before checkout or account activation. If a trial ends and you do not have an active paid plan, access may return to free or read-only features.

Subscriptions

Paid monthly and annual subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. You can cancel future renewals from the Stripe billing portal when available from your account page.

Cancellation stops future renewal. It does not automatically refund charges already taken, unless required by law or agreed by Improve First in writing.

Business and team customers

Improve First is primarily a business and professional tool. Business subscriptions are generally non-refundable once a billing period has started, except where required by law, where there has been a duplicate charge, or where Improve First agrees otherwise in writing.

Consumer cancellation rights

If you buy as a consumer in the UK, you may have a 14-day cancellation right for some online purchases. Digital services can be different if performance begins during the cancellation period with your agreement. Any mandatory consumer rights you have are not reduced by this policy.

One-off digital products and bespoke work

If Improve First later sells one-off digital downloads, templates, reports, workshops or bespoke consulting, the checkout page or written proposal should state the specific cancellation and refund terms for that purchase.

Service problems

If you believe you were charged incorrectly, could not access a paid feature, or experienced a material service fault, contact team@improvefirst.com with the account email, payment date and a short explanation. Do not send card numbers or passwords.

Refund processing

Approved refunds are normally returned through Stripe to the original payment method. Banks and card providers may take additional time to show the refund after Stripe processes it.
